The leather is the high quality Moroccan leather. It appears to have been with it for eons. The knife is accompanied by an original leather sheath but you can tell it isn't the one from the factory. The knife measures 12-1/2 inches in overall length with the blade making up 8 of those inches. This one is Civil War production because of the owner.
